First Night Raleigh

Preparing to celebrate its twenty-third year, First Night Raleigh is North Carolina's largest New Year's Eve celebration. Tens of thousands of people flock to downtown Raleigh each December 31 for the family-friendly community celebration of art, presented by Artsplosure.

First Night Raleigh 2014 will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 2:00 pm until Midnight. Festival venues are located across approximately 20 blocks of downtown Raleigh, from the Museums of History and Natural Sciences at the North to the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts at the South and from Edenton Street United Methodist Church at the West to Marbles Kids Museum and the Long View Center at the East.

All Day Admission Passes go on sale from December 1st for $10 in advance.

First Night Raleigh is a presentation of Artsplosure. The first First Night Raleigh was held December 31, 1991 with more than 15,000 people attending First Night Raleigh 1992. Festival attendance has grown over the years, with a record breaking 80,000 revelers in downtown Raleigh for First Night Raleigh 2012.
